Basic Checks

• Due to high input voltage.

Luminous Electra 1065

• If the relay is faulty or if the IC which powers the relay is faulty and relay is sending back ac voltage into the input cable it will defiantly blow the mosfets. In such case do not power on the source and just check the Relay and its IC and all the connecting components. Video.

Microtek Digital EB 700

• The IC such as 80202 IC or 83202 IC powers the Mosfet which converts battery 12 v to 4 to 4.5 and provide voltage to Mosfet. If you are changing the IC or inspecting the Mosfet be sure that the mosfet is receiving the correct voltage from the IC, otherwise if  IC will send wrong voltage to the mosfet it will blow out. • Check if the drain wires are interchanged (and mosfet blast occurred) , if yes then do not try to change the drain wires of transformers and keep it as it is. Video.
